When I decided to write this biography, I wanted to come up with something simple that would help visitors to this page understand who I am and what my photography is about. This proved to be a difficult task since I started getting too creative and the outcome was far from 'simple'.
So, to keep it simple...
I want to start by quoting Imogen Cunningham:
“Which of my photographs is my favorite? The one I’m going to take
tomorrow."
Although I have always loved photography, it wasn't until my mid-twenties that I discovered a real passion for it. After seeing a photograph that someone had saved for many years, I realized how important it is to capture every single moment that you spend with your loved ones and make those 'Memories Last Forever'.
Somewhere along the way, it became more than just taking snapshots at family events. I wanted be able to create a connection and relive those moments when I looked at a photograph. From that point on I decided to learn about photography by studying the work of some of the great photographers, attending various workshops and working with other photographers in the area.
I look forward to a fun photo session with you to capture your a special moment and take away some memories that you will cherish for years to come.
